I took this on the way to work. It's an example of what Atlanta would look like as a third world country - no gas. This lasted for three weeks. It was awful.
People were getting gas at three and four in the morning. During the day people parked their cars at the gas station pumps and any available parking spaces waiting for a tanker truck to bring gas to the station. There was talk of closing schools for part of the week and not selling gas for one day a week. Steve went out twice to gas up his bike and came back on reserve. When I was low on gas, he would ride his bike to a station with gas and call me so I knew were to go and not waste gas trying to find gas.
We get ALL our gas in the Atlanta area from two pipe lines. Both of those pipe lines come from the same place. Both of these pipe lines are at risk every year from hurricanes. Hello! I would get fired if I set something up as rediculous as this.
