Okay. No way does this look like the traditional key lime pie. Well. The truth is, whenever I make these 'raw' recipes, the NEVER work out, or look like, how they're supposed to!
All that said, ladies and gentlemen, I am here to tell you that I have sneaked a nibble or two or three while preparing said raw key lime pie -- and it is scrumptious!
Crust: coconut, macadamia nuts, walnuts, sea salt, medjol dates
Filling: avocados, lime juice, honey, blueberries, kiwi
Crust is frozen for 20 min and then filled and then in freezer for at least 2 hours.
I will be tasting this later today, and I cannot wait. The flavors will be outstanding.
Visually though...not so much.
